Canvassing with Jeff Smith

Gregg Christian and I went door to door in the neighborhood last Saturday to introduce ourselves to people and find out what issues they think are important for our ward. We were joined by our friend State Senator Jeff Smith.

We met a lot of great people, saw some old friends, and talked about many interesting topics - education, alternative energy, parking, safety, and ways to help neighbors get to know each other better.

It was a really enjoyable day and I look forward to getting out and talking with more neighbors over the weeks to come!

Committed to Change

I have spent the past seven years as a leader of the open ward organization, the 15th Ward Democrats. I have worked hard to increase voter education, participation and turnout by
  • Organizing public forums about candidates and issues (such as our candidates forums before each primary election and our annual Town Hall Meeting with the Mayor and Alderwoman)
  • Mobilizing voters through door-to-door canvassing and Vote Today signs
  • Educating voters with our blue pre-election information brochures
  • Actively participating in neighborhood meetings and events
  • Working closely with Democratic candidates to discuss the needs of the 15th Ward and communicate their plans to the voters of the 15th Ward

I will bring the same level of energy and openness to my role on the St. Louis City Central Democratic Committee.

The 15th Ward is a growing and energetic part of our city. We deserve a strong voice actively representing us in city-wide politics.
